Your money is protected until you get the keys.
Buying an online business shouldn't feel risky. Asset purchases on BuySellDigi are settled through a licensed third-party escrow — funds are only released once the asset is verifiably in your hands.
A neutral third party holds the funds, so neither side has to trust the other on faith.
Agree terms
Buyer and seller agree price, what's included, and the handover plan.
Buyer funds escrow
The buyer deposits the funds with a licensed escrow service — not the seller.
Seller transfers
Domains, accounts, code and assets are handed over using a guided checklist.
Buyer confirms
The buyer verifies everything works and access is complete.
Funds release
Only then does escrow release the money to the seller. Done.
We're transparent about money. There are two separate things — and we never sit in the middle of your purchase funds.
Platform fees — paid here
Listing fees and optional services (like a Verification & Assessment report) are paid securely on-site.
Asset purchase — held in escrow
The money for the business itself goes to a licensed escrow provider, never directly to the seller and never to us.
Funds held, not gambled
The seller can't disappear with your money — escrow only pays out after a confirmed handover.
Verify before you commit
Order an independent assessment of an asset's financials and traffic before you fund the deal.
Guided handover
A step-by-step checklist for domains, hosting, accounts and documentation — nothing forgotten.
Does BuySellDigi hold my purchase money?
No. We process platform fees (like listing fees) on-site, but the funds for the asset itself are held by a licensed third-party escrow provider — never by us and never directly by the seller.
When is the seller paid?
Only after you confirm that the asset has been fully transferred and works as described. Until then, escrow holds the money.
Which payment methods can I use for fees?
Card and UPI via Razorpay, or PayPal. Checkout is encrypted and we don't store your card details.
What if something goes wrong during transfer?
Because funds sit in escrow, they aren't released until the handover is confirmed. If there's a dispute, our buyer protection process helps resolve it.
Is this financial advice?
No — this page explains how payments and escrow work on the platform. Always do your own due diligence before any purchase.
